On the afternoon of September 16, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department coordinated with relevant units to investigate the cause of the fire that broke out at the Tan Hang Hung factory (Thuan Giao 25 Street, Binh Thuan 2 Quarter, Thuan Giao Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) at noon that day, trapping 3 people inside.

According to a quick report, at around 10:40 a.m., a fire broke out at a paint factory of more than 1,000 square meters at Tan Hang Hung Facility and then spread, threatening surrounding companies, schools, and houses.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police Department mobilized the Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams of Zone 30, 32, 33 with 11 specialized fire trucks and 84 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. By 1:30 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished. Through the situation, 3 people (suspected to be foreigners) were trapped in the fire, the rescue teams are searching for the victims.

At the scene, the entire 1,000m2 factory was burned down and collapsed along with many machinery, equipment, raw materials, and finished products. It is known that the above facility was rented by Mr. Vuong Anh Kiet (born in 1977) to open a business in the field of mixing, decanting, packaging, and trading all kinds of paint.
