Located in the Kunming - Hanoi - Hai Phong economic corridor and the Northern Industrial Development Belt with convenient geographical location and transportation, Vinh Phuc is a land with great potential for industrial, service and tourism development of the whole country.
Promoting that advantage, the province has issued many mechanisms and policies to support and encourage business development; promoted the improvement of the business investment environment, actively implemented digital transformation, and invested in building modern and synchronous transport infrastructure.
Implement solutions to improve the effectiveness of attracting strategic investors, prioritizing projects of enterprises using high technology, applying green and environmentally friendly production solutions.
Contributing to unlocking resources and creating momentum for businesses to grow sustainably in the new era, in recent times, the province has organized many seminars and conferences to meet, listen to and discuss with businesses about the US's reciprocal tax policy; investment promotion seminars with the theme " Vinh Phuc - A successful destination for businesses.
Along with that, the Department of Finance organized a conference to remove difficulties and obstacles for FDI enterprises outside industrial parks (IPs) in the production and business process; a dialogue conference with DDI enterprises with the theme "Removing difficulties and obstacles in implementing investment policies, granting investment registration certificates for projects". The Department of Science and Technology organized a workshop on "Dual transformation" - Green and digital luggage for small and medium enterprises to develop sustainably.
Enterprises investing in the province have been proactive, creative, and flexible in adapting to market changes. Thanks to that, from more than 200 private enterprises at the time of the province's re-establishment in 1997, to date, the province has more than 17,000 registered enterprises, more than 1,300 investment projects, including more than 480 FDI projects from 20 countries and territories with a total investment of more than 8.4 billion USD; more than 800 DDI projects, with a total investment of more than 144 trillion VND.
Every year, private enterprises nationwide contribute about 50% to GDP, while private enterprises in the province contribute about 30% to the province's GDP. In the first 5 months of the year, the total state budget revenue in the province is estimated at more than 14 trillion VND, reaching nearly 52% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
Established and put into operation since 2002, up to now, Viet Duc Steel Corporation is one of the leading units in the field of manufacturing and supplying steel products in Vietnam. Viet Duc Steel products are exported to countries in Asia, North America and Canada. Thanks to that, over the years, Viet Duc Steel has contributed a lot to the state budget, created jobs and stable income for more than 1,000 workers, performed well in social security work and made efforts to implement green production.
With the goal of expanding the domestic and export markets, creating more jobs for local workers, Viet Duc Steel is constantly improving product quality, enhancing digital transformation in management and production. Focusing on building and developing social housing projects according to the Government's policies and targets, ensuring social security and the lives of people in the province, especially low-income workers.
Continuing to improve the business environment, reduce legal barriers and create favorable conditions for private enterprises to develop sustainably, on May 17, 2025, the Government issued Resolution No. 139 on the implementation plan of Resolution No. 198 of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies for private economic development.
Accordingly, the Government requires ministries, branches and localities to improve the business environment, perfect mechanisms and policies on inspection, examination, licensing, certification, competition and business bankruptcy.
By December 31, 2025 at the latest, complete the review and elimination of unnecessary business conditions, overlapping and inappropriate regulations that hinder the development of private enterprises; reduce at least 30% of administrative procedure processing time, at least 30% of legal compliance costs, at least 30% of business conditions and continue to cut them sharply in the following years.
Thoroughly apply digital transformation to minimize the time for processing administrative procedures; strictly handle acts of abusing inspection to harass and cause difficulties for businesses; support access to land, production and business premises, house rental, land that is public property; support finance, credit, taxes, fees, charges; support research, development and application of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation...
