Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will have bilateral activities in France from June 7-11, at the invitation of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Welcoming the Prime Minister and his wife along with the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation at Cotê d'Azur airport in Nice city were representatives of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs ; Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang; officials and staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in France.
This is the first time the Prime Minister of Vietnam has attended the United Nations Ocean Conference; this is the first visit to France by the Prime Minister since the two countries upgraded their relationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in October 2024, following the visit to Vietnam by French President Macron last May.
As a special guest of the French President attending UNOC 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend discussion sessions and related conferences and events such as: finance and green economy forum, marine science exhibition, etc.
In particular, the Prime Minister will co-chair the world delta summit and deliver a keynote speech at the plenary session of UNOC 3.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's participation in UNOC 3 affirms that Vietnam is ready to be a reliable partner within cooperation frameworks, ready to contribute in sharing knowledge and experience with other countries, and contributing to the common effort to achieve sustainable development goals.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's activities in France focused on realizing major orientations of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries, as well as the Vietnam-France Joint Statement on the occasion of French President Macron's recent state visit to Vietnam, opening a new phase for the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and France.
