According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the early morning of June 11, the tropical depression was located at 15.5 degrees North latitude; 113.8 degrees East longitude, about 240km East Southeast of Hoang Sa archipelago, with intensity of level 7 (50-61km/h), gusting to level 9.

Forecast in the next 24 hours, the low pressure will move slowly in the West Northwest direction, speed 5-10km/hour.

On the day and night of June 11, in the North East Sea area (including the waters of the Hoang Sa archipelago), the North of the Central East Sea area has strong winds of level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9, gusting to level 11; very rough seas. The South of the Central East Sea area, the South East Sea area (including the waters of the Truong Sa archipelago) has strong winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas. From Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, there are winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas. From Binh Dinh to Ca Mau , there are winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas.

On land, in the past hours, the Central Central region, Central Highlands, and the South have had showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. The rainfall from 7 p.m. on June 10 to 3 a.m. on June 11 was over 70mm in some places, such as: Hai Lam (Quang Tri) 95.8mm, Ia Dom (Kon Tum) 88.6mm, Ayun Trung Dam-Hydropower Plant (Hue) 78.2mm, Nhon Hoa ( Gia Lai ) 156.4mm.

During the day and night of June 11, the South Central, Central Highlands, and South regions will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall of 30-70mm, and some places over 150mm.

From the night of June 11 to June 13, the Central Central region and the Northern Central Highlands will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall: Central Central region 100-300mm, some places over 450mm; Northern Central Highlands 70-150mm, some places over 200mm. From June 14, heavy rain in the above areas will decrease.

Southern region: Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. Southwest wind level 3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Temperature: 24-33 degrees Celsius.
