Billionaire Ho Hung Anh's son invests capital to open blockchain company
Holding a large amount of shares in Techcombank , Mr. Ho Anh Minh - son of Chairman Ho Hung Anh - has never appeared in an executive role at this bank.
Instead, this young master, who owns a personal fortune on the stock market exceeding 10,000 billion VND, recently appeared at a technology company called 1Matrix, after holding an important role at Masterise Group.
According to the Hanoi Business Registration Office, 1Matrix Joint Stock Company was only established at the end of March this year, with headquarters in Hanoi.
This company registered its main business as computer programming. At the time of its launch, the start-up 1Matrix said it would develop public, financial, authentication, and traceability services on the Vietnamese blockchain network.
The initial charter capital of 1Matrix is 200 billion VND. The founding shareholder structure of 1Matrix includes: One Mount Group Joint Stock Company (60%), Decom Holdings Joint Stock Company (30%), the rest is contributed by Mr. Ho Anh Minh.
The Chairman and legal representative of 1Matrix is Mr. Phan Duc Trung. Mr. Trung is currently the Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association. At the same time, Mr. Trung is also known as the brother-in-law of Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan Group, member of the Board of Directors of Techcombank.
One Mount Group - a major shareholder of 1Matrix - also has close ties to Mr. Ho Hung Anh's family. This technology company has a charter capital of VND6,593 billion.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (Mr. Hung Anh's wife, Mr. Anh Minh's mother) is currently the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and legal representative of One Mount Group.
One Mount currently owns a multi-disciplinary technology ecosystem including prominent platforms such as VinID, VinShop, VinID Pay and OneHousing, with the ambition to become the leading technology group in Vietnam.
More notably, One Mount Group is the enterprise assigned to build the "Make in Vietnam" Layer 1 blockchain network at the 6th Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Development National Forum held earlier this year.
At this forum, with a commitment to invest 200-500 million USD, One Mount Group will develop a Layer 1 blockchain network with the following criteria: High speed, superior scalability, optimal security and consensus mechanism.
The platform also said that it not only meets the needs of domestic blockchain technology development but is also ready to connect internationally, becoming a bridge to public blockchain networks around the world.
What do billionaire Vuong and billionaire Thao do?
Meanwhile, Mr. Tommy Nguyen - son of billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, CEO of Vietjet Air - is also one of the prominent F2 faces as co-founder of technology logistics start-up Swift247.
Established in 2019, Swift247 is headquartered at Vietjet Plaza Building (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City). Swift247 is introduced as a technology platform that connects and optimizes partners, providing flexible, versatile solutions for all locations and service requirements.

When it was first established, Swift247's charter capital was only 100 million VND. By November 2020, this business had increased its capital to 47 billion VND.
Of which, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company contributed more than 67% of capital; three individual shareholders including Ha Nang Viet, Bui Hai Nam and Do Xuan Quang contributed 26%, 3.7% and 3.19% respectively.
And young master Tommy Nguyen is introduced as one of the founders of Swift247.
Swift247 wrote on its website that the brand began to take shape in 2018, in a city in Europe, when an international student (Tommy Nguyen - PV) from Southeast Asia realized that sending the necessary documents from home to complete the study visa procedure was extremely slow and inconvenient.
From that experience, the student was impressed with the "unexpectedly fast" delivery service of Amazon Prime.
The introduction also said that Tommy and his colleagues in the technology and marketing fields saw a great opportunity and decided to apply information technology and automated systems to connect the needs of delivering mail, parcels and goods - optimizing the user experience.
At the end of 2024, the two sons of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong - Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang - also contributed capital to VinRobotics Robotics Research, Development and Application Joint Stock Company. This is a company operating in the fields of AI, automation and smart robots, with a charter capital of up to 1,000 billion VND.
VinRobotics is oriented to become a specialist in manufacturing and integrating intelligent robotics and robot products, aiming to provide solutions to optimize production processes and life - leading the wave of automation and the 4.0 industrial revolution in Vietnam.
In addition, billionaire Vuong's two sons also play important roles in other companies in the Vingroup ecosystem.
An economic expert commented that the shift to technology by young entrepreneurs is a modern trend, demonstrating sensitivity to market fluctuations.
They are not only heirs of assets, but also inheritors of innovative thinking, choosing fields that require intelligence such as AI, programming, robotics, etc. to affirm their personal position and elevate the family brand in the digital age.
