A representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province affirmed: "The Department does not grant permission to any individual or organization to organize a golf tournament called "For Children to Go to School". Arbitrarily organizing a golf tournament to raise money without a license is an illegal act."

Previously, an invitation to the golf tournament was circulated on social media, along with a bank account number and a call for a transfer with the content "Support the charity golf tournament 'For children to go to school'". Notably, the invitation also included a picture of a board printed with the logos of 12 press agencies, labeled " Media sponsor" and " Accompanying sponsor".
