Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Construction in Official Dispatch No. 24/CD-BXD dated June 10, 2025 on "proactively responding to tropical depressions in the East Sea", Road Management Zones I, II, III; Departments of Construction of provinces in the Central region, Traffic Project Management Boards 3, 4, 5; BOT enterprises managing and operating national highways and expressways under the BOT form must resolutely, promptly and synchronously deploy the work of preventing and overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 1.
Road Management Areas proactively deploy traffic assurance plans and take measures to protect roads, bridges, culverts, warehouses, vehicles, and construction machinery to limit damage caused by storm No. 1; prepare bridge girders, buoys, machinery, equipment, vehicles, and human resources to be ready to ensure traffic when incidents occur; maintain forces and vehicles ready to participate in rescue operations to ensure traffic to minimize damage. For locations with large landslides causing traffic jams, immediately deploy remote traffic diversion plans.
Traffic project management boards have plans to prevent the harmful effects of natural disasters to ensure the safety of the constructed volume, ensure traffic safety and safety for auxiliary works, construction equipment, material warehouses, workshops, and living quarters for staff and workers; construction equipment must be safely stored, and floating vehicles must have shelters or sheltered places to anchor during storms.
The above units coordinate with the local Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue to organize rescue forces to ensure 24/24 traffic; regularly monitor closely the developments of storm No. 1 and update information to the Vietnam Road Administration at phone number 1900545570 extension 3.
