Nearly 20 more trains on Northern routes on April 30

On April 24, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that in order to meet the increased passenger travel demand during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the railway will continue to organize nearly 20 additional trains on the Northern routes.

Accordingly, on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route, in addition to running 4 pairs of trains/day, the organization will also run HP3 and LP9 trains departing from Hanoi on April 30 and May 1, 2025; LP10 and HP4 trains departing from Hai Phong, and HD2 trains departing from Hai Duong on May 2, 3, and 4, 2025.

Hanoi - Dong Hoi route, 4 more QB1/QB2 trains will run on April 29 and 30, 2025 and QB2 train will depart from Dong Hoi station on May 2 and 3, 2025.

In addition, on the Hanoi - Vinh route, train NA1/NA2 will be maintained, and on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, two pairs of trains SP3/SP4 and SP7/SP8 will be maintained.

The railway industry added more trains to facilitate people's travel during the holidays.

Discount policies for social policy beneficiaries, the elderly, children, students, union members, and round-trip tickets are still applied to passengers during the holidays.

In addition, to show gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution, the railway reduces 40% of train tickets for passengers who are: War invalids, people enjoying policies such as war invalids, sick soldiers, veterans, and relatives of people who have contributed to the revolution.

Applicable time, passengers buy train tickets from April 24, 2025 to May 9, 2025. These train tickets are sold directly at railway stations, not online. Currently, 469 tickets have been sold to people with revolutionary contributions.
