SJC denies false rumors about the quality of gold bars

Regarding the case of 6,255 taels of illegally produced gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC, the company affirmed that the information spread online about the quality of SJC gold bars recently is completely false.

"This information is incorrect. All products manufactured and processed by SJC Company are guaranteed in quality" - SJC representative emphasized.

According to SJC Company, the unit assigned by the State to produce gold bars, SJC applies the ISO 9001:2015 quality management process. Input materials are strictly inspected; each gold bar weighs exactly 37.5 grams before being stamped and shaped; the KCS department checks the quality, attaches serial numbers and tests the gold content using high technology before leaving the factory.

Products circulating on the market are guaranteed to be of the declared quality, with no deviation in content as recently caused confusion.

“The multi-layered control mechanism helps prevent substandard products from being released to the market. The 6,255 taels of gold still meet legal circulation standards. SJC is responsible for ensuring the quality of gold bars produced at the factory, as well as the legitimate rights of customers," SJC Acting General Director Dao Cong Thang affirmed.
