Home to 42 ethnic minorities, Quang Ngai province has a unique and diverse cultural identity, interwoven between regions. The province is also blessed with many tourism resources such as Mang Den Eco-tourism Area, Ly Son Island and Sea Tourism Center, and Sa Huynh Special National Cultural Heritage. These are unique advantages for the locality to develop tourism and services sustainably and identify this as one of the five key tasks that need to be promoted in the new term. The province aims to turn the service sector into one of the growth pillars. Strive for an average growth rate of 11%–12% per year in the 2026–2030 period. The proportion of services in GRDP will reach 31%–32%. By 2030, the industrial, construction and service sectors will account for about 75%–76% of the total GRDP, making an important contribution to the province's goal of rapid and sustainable development.
“I expect the province to issue policies and guidelines to attract investment. At the same time, it will organize training courses on tourism development, especially tourism in ethnic minority areas, to help people gain skills and orientation to do tourism, contributing to preserving culture and improving life.”
Quang Ngai province strives to have basically no poor households by 2030. To achieve this, identifying and exploiting local strengths in various fields plays an important role. With advantages in land, forest and marine resources, the province encourages localities to develop organic agriculture, apply high technology associated with building brands according to geographical names and regional specialties. Focus on developing forestry economy, medicinal economy, with a focus on Ngoc Linh ginseng, endemic precious medicinal species, fruit trees, cold-climate vegetables and flowers, Ly Son garlic and industrial crops.
“The Dak Plo area is very suitable for cold-climate coffee trees and especially Ngoc Linh ginseng - a valuable medicinal plant that can be grown under the forest canopy without affecting the environment or coverage. I hope that in the coming time, the province will have specific instructions so that local authorities can flexibly apply, propagate and widely mobilize households and people to participate.”
One of the three breakthrough tasks of the province in the new term is to strengthen administrative reform and digital transformation to improve provincial competitiveness. This is the foundation for improving the effectiveness of management and operation, creating momentum for comprehensive development of socio-economic fields. With the spirit of pioneering and innovation, Quang Ngai youth commits to accompany Party committees and authorities at all levels in building digital government and digital economy. Contributing to improving the quality of service to people and businesses. Improving the provincial competitiveness index and realizing the goals set out in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
“We will step up propaganda and raise awareness among people, especially in rural and mountainous areas, about the benefits of digital transformation. Each member will also strive to study and practice digital skills to participate in digital transformation, contributing to effective administrative reform.”
With high political determination, the participation of the entire political system, and the support of the people and the business community, Quang Ngai has urgently implemented steps to concretize 5 key tasks and 3 breakthrough tasks into a practical action program. This is an important initial step to soon put the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 into life.
