Closing of the Exhibition “80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”

On the evening of September 15, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi, the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" took place.

The exhibition was held on the largest scale ever, bringing together 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 enterprises. Through 230 display spaces, the exhibition introduced the achievements of nearly 180 industries and fields in 80 years of building and developing the country.

After 19 days of opening, the event attracted about 10 million visitors. Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed: The exhibition demonstrates the leadership role of the Party, the strength of national unity, as well as the spirit of overcoming difficulties and rising up of the Vietnamese people. The event also demonstrates the aspiration to fly high and reach far in the new era, and is a good start for upcoming important political and cultural events.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded Certificates of Merit from the Government to 36 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the exhibition.
