To ensure quality for the 2025-2026 school year, the Quang Ngai education sector has prepared the necessary conditions, especially facilities and teaching staff. The province currently has 923 educational institutions, with nearly 445,000 students and more than 15,500 classrooms, and infrastructure investment is a top priority.
The Department of Education and Training has proposed to build three new schools and renovate two schools in border communes, with a total cost of VND773 billion. The two key projects are the Inter-level Boarding Schools in Duc Nong and Mo Rai communes, which are expected to start construction in 2025 and be completed before August 30, 2026.
The Department is also advising the province to develop a project to develop the teaching staff for the 2026-2030 period, to ensure sufficient human resources for the new period. In particular, the province prioritizes training human resources to implement the National Assembly 's Resolution on universalizing preschool education for children aged 3-5.
This is also the first year of implementing free tuition for high school students, expanding universal preschool education for children aged 3-5. With comprehensive preparation in terms of human resources, material resources and policy mechanisms, the Quang Ngai education sector is ready to enter the first school year after the merger with a new mindset, steadfast, proactive and determined to innovate.
The 2025-2026 school year is the first year to implement a series of innovative policies in education and training. With careful preparation by the education sector, the support of the whole society, and the readiness of students, all are creating a hopeful start.
