The contest is attended by nearly 40 cadres who are lieutenant, brigade commander, political commissar of infantry brigade, and arms in the military region. During the 4 days, the cadres will participate in the following contents: General awareness test (multiple choice format) on military work; Party work, political work (CTĐ, CTCT); logistics - technical work, finance; team command, physical strength; K54 shooting lesson 1, 1b.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Major General Luong Van Kiem emphasized: Building a strong cadre team is the "key" part of the "key" task in building the Army, strengthening national defense, and protecting the Fatherland; at the same time, it is a fundamental, long-term, and urgent issue today. The Commander of the Military Region requested the Organizing Committee, the Jury, and the cadres participating in the contest to perform well a number of contents, namely: The Organizing Committee operates the contest contents according to the determined plan and schedule; regularly inspects and urges the Organizing Committee and the service department to complete their tasks well, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment.

Candidates will take the exam on Building determination (plan) to fight and drafting a resolution to lead combat missions.

The jury upholds the sense of responsibility, together with the Organizing Committee, guides, directs, and implements the content and time correctly and fully according to the determined exam schedule; organizes the scoring of the contents accurately and objectively; comments on specific results, as a basis for evaluating the achievements of each individual and unit; maintains strict and serious regulations in the exam areas. For the officials participating in the exam, they proactively do well in all preparation work, uphold the sense of responsibility, solidarity, honesty, learn from each other, fully participate in the exam content; strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee; State laws, military discipline and the direction of the judges, ensuring absolute safety.

The contest aims to test and evaluate the actual level of leadership, command, management and unit training capacity of platoon and brigade commanders, political commissars of infantry platoon and brigade, and military branches; to serve as a basis for drawing experience, training, fostering and improving the mettle and professional qualifications of the team of commanding officers of platoon and brigade in the military region, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical", excellently completing all assigned tasks, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.
