PV GAS strives to continue to maintain its No. 1 position in the Vietnamese gas energy industry.

(Chinhphu.vn) - Recently, at the Congress of Party Delegates of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), the Corporation has oriented the development of PV GAS in the new period, continuing to be determined to develop PV GAS to firmly lead the Vietnamese gas energy industry.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) of PV GAS affirmed that the Corporation will strive to proactively seize opportunities and advantages, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and join the nation in entering a new era, the "Era of Rising" of the country. Continue to promote the cause of building PV GAS as a key and pioneering unit in the Vietnamese gas energy industry, worthy of being the "Labor Hero" unit of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, PV GAS always maintains and holds the position of the key unit in the core field of Petrovietnam , providing input fuel sources for the production of 7 - 15% of electricity output, 70% of the national demand for nitrogenous fertilizers, 70% of the LPG wholesale market share, 100% of the pipeline gas and CNG market share, contributing significantly to the goal of ensuring national energy security and food security.

Despite the difficult and challenging context, PV GAS continues to affirm its core role and leading position among the Group's units in terms of profit and production and business efficiency, in the period of 2020 - 2025: PV GAS's revenue reached 449.2 trillion VND, accounting for about 15% of Petrovietnam; pre-tax profit reached 64.5 trillion VND, accounting for more than 20% of Petrovietnam's total profit; State budget contribution reached 31.4 trillion VND, accounting for more than 4.9% of Petrovietnam's total State budget contribution.

PV GAS always maintains and holds its position as the key unit in Petrovietnam's core fields, contributing significantly to the goal of ensuring national energy and food security.

PV GAS continues to maintain its leading role in the Vietnamese gas energy industry; basically builds and completes the gas industry infrastructure system, especially the completion and operation of Thi Vai LNG Port Warehouse, creating a foundation and premise for the development of the next central LNG port warehouses (LNG Hub); promptly transforms the business model to meet new market requirements; continuously operates as a highly efficient enterprise with prestige and brand name domestically and regionally; ensures employment, constantly improves the material and spiritual life of workers with an average income of about 40 million VND/person/month.

In the new period, although recognizing that there will be many greater challenges, the PV GAS Party Committee continues to set highly ambitious goals and tasks to build a "four good" Party Committee, a clean and strong political system to lead the construction of PV GAS to continue to affirm its No. 1 position, effectively perform its leading role, and lead the gas energy industry in Vietnam.

Aiming to be ranked in the Top 100 leading companies in Southeast Asia (Fortune Southeast 500); continuing to occupy 100% of the market share of natural gas, low pressure gas and CNG from domestic natural gas; 65-70% of the market share of LPG and LNG in Vietnam and participating deeply in the international business market; the total revenue of the Corporation grows by an average of 8-10%/year; the profit margin after tax/charter capital of PV GAS averages 15-20%/year;...
