Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Ha Dong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hien emphasized that, in the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, we are striving to compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), to celebrate the major holidays of the Capital and the country; on August 3 and 4, the first Congress of Ha Dong Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030 was successfully held. The Congress achieved comprehensive results, ensuring compliance with the principles, procedures and regulations of the Party.
The Congress was attended by 239 outstanding Party members, representing 14,833 Party members in the entire Party Committee. This is an important political event for the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Dong Ward. The Congress comprehensively and objectively assessed the results achieved according to the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. The Congress set out goals, strategic directions, key tasks, development breakthroughs, and key solutions to realize the set goals, on the vision of the new development space of Ha Dong Ward in the period 2025-2030.
Accordingly, the Congress identified 6 key tasks in the fields of Party building, urban development, socio -economics, digital transformation, national defense and security. Along with that are 3 breakthroughs, 4 major programs and projects and 18 main targets, reflecting the determination to innovate, improve the quality of life, and manage modern and civilized urban government.
The success of the Congress is an affirmation of the spirit of solidarity, high responsibility and strong innovation in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and the consensus and high support of the people.
“After the Congress, I hope that all cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the ward will unite, be determined to strive, overcome difficulties, and complete the goals, targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 1st Congress,” Comrade Nguyen Huu Hien emphasized.
The cultural exchange night brought many special performances praising the Party and beloved Uncle Ho; expressing the steadfast belief in the revolutionary cause of the capital and the country.
