Dong Thuan Women support poor students before the new school year

Meaningful gifts worth nearly 60 million VND were presented, opening a new path for students with difficulties in Dong Thuan ward (Quang Tri province) before the 2025-2026 school year.

The Women's Union of Dong Thuan Ward has just organized the program "Supporting to go to school - Connecting love" with the participation of leaders of the Women's Union of Quang Tri province, representatives of local Party committees and authorities, businesses and philanthropists. The program aims to share difficulties, encourage spirit and provide practical support so that poor students have more conditions to enter the new school year.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Quang Tri province sponsored 2 students with a total amount of 9 million VND; Bac Ly People's Credit Fund and Cat Tuong Pham Shop each sponsored 1 student with a support level of 12 million VND/2 years. In addition, businesses, individuals and the Women's Union of Dong Thuan ward jointly presented 45 gifts of school supplies to the students. The total value of sponsorship and gifts in the program was nearly 60 million VND.

Students receive meaningful gifts from sponsors

In response to the community's concern, Tran Van Minh Duc, an 11th grader at Phan Dinh Phung High School, shared: "I feel very happy and touched. I am grateful for the care of the teachers and uncles. I promise to try my best to study well so as not to let everyone down."

Delighted to receive the meaningful gift, Le Thi Thao, an 8th grader at Quang Phu Primary and Secondary School, said: "I thank the Women's Union and the uncles and aunts for helping my family. This is a great motivation for me to study hard, overcome difficulties and help my parents more."

The program "Supporting students to go to school - Connecting love" has spread the spirit of sharing in the community, sowing more faith and determination for students with special circumstances in Dong Thuan ward to confidently go to school.
