“This is the first match of the season so we really want to win, to win the cup, I believe CAHN will win. Of course, Nam Dinh is a strong opponent, they won the V.League two consecutive seasons. But last season, we defeated them 3-0 away, so I believe this time we will have a similar result,” Nguyen Filip said about the National Super Cup match with Nam Dinh.
The 2025/26 season will kick off with the National Super Cup match between Nam Dinh and CAHN on August 9. This is a confrontation between the V.League champion and the team that won the National Cup last season. For goalkeeper Nguyen Filip, the match is not only an opportunity to compete for the cup, but also an opportunity to show his determination and belief in the strength of the collective.
Joining CAHN in 2023, the overseas Vietnamese goalkeeper quickly integrated and became a reliable stopper. He highly appreciated the careful preparation process of both teams, from tactics to force.
The goalkeeper born in 1992 believes that the Super Cup match will bring an exciting atmosphere to the audience. “Nam Dinh has just added many new players. We also focus on collective play instead of individual play. But this will definitely be a good match for the fans,” he said.

When asked who is the most influential player at CAHN, Filip straightforwardly chose Nguyen Quang Hai. According to him, midfielder number 19 is the one who creates connections in the gameplay and always knows how to shine at the right time.
Not only confident before the match, Filip also expressed his excitement about the football environment in Vietnam. “I like the football atmosphere here, the fans are very passionate. My team is professional and has a lot of support, that makes me happy,” he shared.
