By 2024, Ca Mau will have 19 key energy-using facilities.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision announcing the list of 19 key energy-using establishments in 2024 in the fields of industry, agriculture, construction and transportation.

Ca Mau Seafood Processing and Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Camimex) is one of 19 key energy-using facilities in 2024.

According to the decision, by 2024, there will be 19 key energy-using facilities in the province.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to notify 19 key energy-using establishments to organize management and monitor the implementation of energy-saving and efficient use programs for establishments. Organize inspection, review, update and make a list of key energy-using establishments in the province, submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval before February 1 every year.

Ca Mau Electricity Company is the unit assigned to organize the update of electricity customers with large electricity consumption in year N-1, send reports to the Department of Industry and Trade before January 31 every year for monitoring and synthesis.

Under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, key energy-using establishments are responsible for fully implementing the obligations stipulated in the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy; Decree No. 21/2011/ND-CP dated March 29, 2011 of the Government detailing and providing measures for implementing the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy; and other relevant legal documents.
