It is forecasted that from today (June 27) to June 28, thunderstorms will continue to occur in the Northwest and North Vietnam regions, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 30-70mm, and some places experiencing over 200mm (concentrated in the evening and at night).

Heavy rain is expected in many places this afternoon and evening.

In other places in the North, Thanh Hoa - Nghe An today and tonight, rainfall is forecasted from 15-30mm, locally over 80mm.

In the Central Highlands and the South, rainfall is 10-30mm, locally over 50mm.

Heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
