According to Bleeping Computer , the Microsoft incident occurred at around 2 p.m. on May 23 and seemed to affect users in Asia and Europe the most. From user reports and Bleeping Computer's testing, if you open Bing.com, you will see a blank page or a page with a 429 HTTP error message. However, Bing search still works if you access it directly. For some reason, the incident only affects Bing's home page.

To use Bing, you can go to www4.bing.com and search as usual. However, Copilot is completely offline whether you use the website, the app, or Copilot in Windows. Another thing to note is that searching the Internet on ChatGPT and DuckDuckGo is also problematic because they use the Bing API.

DuckDuckGo refuses to load the page and displays an error message: "There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again”.

Microsoft has confirmed an issue where users may not be able to access the Microsoft Copilot service. On social network X, the company said it is working to isolate the cause of the problem.

Currently, the Microsoft service interruption issue has not been resolved.
