Areas assigned to the new Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan is in charge of the following areas: Vocational education; continuing education; international cooperation; digital transformation, application of information technology, etc.

The Minister of Education and Training has just issued Decision No. 2590/QD-BGDDT dated September 12, 2025 on the assignment of tasks of the Minister and Deputy Ministers.

Accordingly, the new Deputy Minister Le Quan is in charge of the following areas: Vocational education; continuing education; international cooperation; digital transformation, information technology application, inspection work in assigned fields; Assisting the Minister in directing regular tasks to implement regulations on investment conditions and operations of vocational education institutions.

Deputy Minister Le Quan is in charge of the following units: Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education; Department of International Cooperation; SEAMEO Regional Training Center in Vietnam; SEAMEO Regional Center for Lifelong Learning in Vietnam; and vocational education institutions other than pedagogy.

Deputy Minister Le Quan is in charge of general monitoring of the provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions; the Central Highlands region;

In charge of directing activities related to projects, plans, programs, Steering Committees, Committees, Councils, Associations, Unions, Funds as assigned by the Government, Prime Minister , Minister and competent authorities; At the same time, perform other tasks as assigned by the Minister.
