National Economics University opens Course 4 of Joint Program with La Trobe University, Australia

GD&TĐ - On September 13, the National Economics University held the opening ceremony of the 4th course of Finance and Management, an international bachelor's program in collaboration with La Trobe University, Australia.

The international bachelor's program jointly organized by the National Economics University and La Trobe University, Australia, is an advanced training program designed entirely in English.

The lecturers are professors, associate professors, and doctors trained in advanced countries and have extensive experience from both universities.

Students study and live in a dynamic, friendly environment with modern facilities and equipment for teaching and learning.

Students of the program can study all 3 years at National Economics University (NEU) or study 2 years at NEU and transfer to Australia to study for one year.

Upon enrollment, students are given an account and have full rights as regular students of La Trobe University. Although studying at the National Economics University, students can access all data and libraries of La Trobe University to serve their studies and research under the regular guidance of La Trobe University staff in Australia and program staff at NEU.

In addition, students have all the rights of students of National Economics University such as participating in activities of the Youth Union, Student Association, Party development, clubs, using the library and other facilities serving students at NEU...

If transferring to Australia to study the third year, students can choose to study a number of majors other than Finance and Management.

After graduation, students are also considered by the Australian Government for a 2-year Working Visa in Australia.

This joint program was officially launched by the two universities in 2022. Over the past three years, the National Economics University and La Trobe University have together cultivated a strong cooperative relationship, based on trust, sharing and strong commitment to a common goal: providing Vietnamese students with the opportunity to access advanced global education , harmoniously combining Australia's modern knowledge, science and technology and the academic depth and prestige of the National Economics University.

“Dear new students of the 4th course, I believe that the coming years will be the most memorable time of your lives. Here, you will not only acquire knowledge and practice skills, but also have your character nurtured, your aspirations nurtured, and your global vision expanded.

Students admitted to the Program this year all have good academic ability and English proficiency. Many students have achieved IELTS 8.0 and 7.5, which is a very favorable condition for students to study and live in an international environment.

All students of the La Trobe NEU program upon admission are awarded a 30% scholarship (this scholarship is deducted directly from the tuition fee).

At this opening ceremony, banks and businesses awarded 44 scholarships with a total amount of 200 million VND to 10 new students with excellent results in the entrance exam; 22 students with excellent academic achievements and 9 class officers, active union members of courses 1, 2, 3 and 3 most outstanding students of courses 1, 2 and 3, this is a recognition, encouragement and companionship with the students on the path to conquer the endless knowledge of humanity.
