Provincial leaders work with the Korean Association of Small and Medium Enterprises

On the afternoon of August 21, Ninh Binh provincial leaders had a working session with the Korean Small and Medium Enterprises Association. Comrades: Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and chaired the meeting.

Also attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong, National Assembly Delegate of Ninh Binh Province, XVth term, Standing Member of the Economic and Financial Committee of the National Assembly, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Parliamentarians' Group; Nguyen Cao Son, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province, Customs Branch of Region IV, and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation of the Korean Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony for the delegation of the Korean Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Truong Quoc Huy thanked the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group and the Korean Association of Small and Medium Enterprises for their connection to this useful working program. Emphasizing the success of Korean enterprises in investing abroad, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also acknowledged the positive contributions of Korean enterprises that have been investing effectively in Ninh Binh .

He suggested that the Korean Small and Medium Enterprises Association continue to connect to attract more Korean investors to Ninh Binh, and affirmed that the success of enterprises is also the success of the province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc also expressed his joy that right after the merger of the provinces, Korean investors were interested and had plans to learn about the environment and investment opportunities in Ninh Binh province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced the province's advantages in economic development and investment attraction, and said that there are currently 212 Korean FDI projects in effect in Ninh Binh with a total investment capital of 2.7 billion USD. Of these, 145 projects are located in industrial parks with a total investment capital of 2.29 billion USD, 67 projects are located outside industrial parks with a total investment capital of 0.41 billion USD. These projects mainly focus on the supporting industry of automobile assembly and electronic components, typically the Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also committed to the open investment environment of Ninh Binh province and the drastic implementation of administrative reform. The province's goal is to become a province with modern industry and developed services, with high-quality tourism as the spearhead economic sector, high-tech industry as the driving force, and multi-value ecological agriculture as the mainstay.

Regarding development orientation, Ninh Binh is building the northern region of the province into a center for high-tech industry, innovation and high-quality human resource training. The province will also complete logistics infrastructure and industrial park infrastructure to create a solid foundation for cooperation with Korean business associations and investors.

At the meeting, leaders of the Korean Association of Small and Medium Enterprises expressed their desire to cooperate with Ninh Binh province in transportation and seaport projects, and shared experiences in building smart factories and artificial intelligence.
