Social insurance officers of Tho Xuan - Thuong Xuan district propagate and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance.
In Tho Xuan and Thuong Xuan districts, in order to continue promoting the emulation movement in the development of social insurance and health insurance participants, striving to exceed the assigned plan targets in 2025, the Director of Tho Xuan - Thuong Xuan Inter-District Social Insurance launched an emulation movement with the theme: "May - Month of mobilizing the implementation of universal social insurance". The movement was launched to all cadres, civil servants of the Inter-District Social Insurance, and collection service organizations in the two districts.
Accordingly, on May 25 and 26, the Tho Xuan - Thuong Xuan Inter-District Social Insurance and the staff of the collection service organization actively mobilized and developed 399 new people to participate in voluntary social insurance, of which the collection service organization of An Sinh Service Supply Company Limited mobilized 361 people to participate in voluntary social insurance; 98 people to participate in family health insurance, exceeding the target assigned in the emulation period. During the two days of launching the emulation movement, the Inter-District Social Insurance carried out more than 400 direct communications in villages, hamlets and residential areas, spreading the policy. The communication content focused on clarifying the practical benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance, while answering questions, helping people understand and feel secure when accessing the policy. In many communes, people's lives are still difficult, but when social insurance officers and social insurance and health insurance collection staff consulted and propagated, people changed their awareness and participated.
Vice Chairman of Tho Xuan District People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Hai said: "The emulation movement launched by Tho Xuan - Thuong Xuan Inter-District Social Insurance has created a vibrant atmosphere, attracting positive responses from collection service organizations. Thereby, affirming the role of the Social Insurance system and the collection staff in bringing the humane policies of the Party and State closer to the people, especially vulnerable groups and workers in the informal sector".
On November 21, 2019, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1676/QD-TTg approving the Project on comprehensive innovation of content, form and methods of social insurance propaganda, in which May of each year is chosen as the Month of mobilizing the implementation of universal social insurance. Accordingly, many communication activities have been actively carried out to raise awareness and spread the humanistic values of social insurance and health insurance policies to all classes of people, especially workers in the informal sector.
During the Month of mobilizing and implementing universal social insurance in 2025 with the theme "Social insurance - peace of mind for every family", Social Insurance Region VI ( Thanh Hoa ) actively responded with many synchronous, drastic and flexible communication activities, contributing to spreading deeply and widely the message about the humane policies of the Party and State.
With the slogan of action "Social Insurance Region VI - Thanh Hoa Provincial Post Office is determined to implement the goal of social insurance and health insurance for all people of the Party and State", immediately after the launching ceremony, the mobile propaganda teams of Social Insurance Region VI and Social Insurance of districts and towns marched on the main streets and then divided into small groups to go directly to densely populated areas, commercial centers, markets... to propagate and answer questions about the regime, policies, and benefits. At the same time, communicate the convenience of using the VssID application in performing some public services of the Social Insurance agency, use the image of the health insurance card on the VssID application to replace the paper health insurance card in health insurance examination and treatment, as well as propagate the use of chip-embedded citizen identification cards in health insurance examination and treatment.
As a result, the whole province has promoted and mobilized 904 new participants in voluntary social insurance, 573 households in family health insurance; at the same time, ensuring the maintenance of renewal collection for 1,969 participants in voluntary social insurance and 2,932 participants in family health insurance.
Deputy Director of Social Insurance Region VI Vu Nguyen Hiep emphasized that the Month of mobilizing the implementation of universal social insurance in 2025 has a special significance when a series of new policies under the Social Insurance Law 2024 and Decree No. 143/2024/ND-CP on voluntary occupational accident insurance officially come into effect, expanding benefits, creating opportunities for people to proactively participate, gradually building a more comprehensive and sustainable social security system. Therefore, the work of propaganda, dissemination and support for participants plays a very important role in effectively implementing the Social Insurance Law 2024, the amended and supplemented Law on Health Insurance 2024, to create a strong change in people's awareness, ensuring that the law is correctly understood and effectively implemented in practice; creating a positive and widespread effect to bring policies closer to workers, especially workers in the informal sector, is the "key" to realizing the goal of universal social insurance.
