The 2023 Thanh Hoa City Open Vovinam Tournament was held for the first time with the participation of more than 200 athletes and coaches from Vovinam clubs in the province.

More than 200 athletes and coaches participated in the tournament.

On the morning of June 24, at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of Ham Rong High School, Thanh Hoa City People's Committee organized the 2023 Vovinam Open Tournament with the participation of more than 200 athletes and coaches from 15 Vovinam clubs from districts, towns, cities, schools, and units in the province.

Athletes compete in 30 events including: 5 martial arts events for the age group 11 and under; 5 martial arts events and 10 weight categories for men and women in the age group 12-15; 4 martial arts events and 6 weight categories for men and women in the age group 16 and over.

The Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the participating teams.

The tournament was held for the first time but attracted the participation of many strong units in the province such as Sam Son city, Nghi Son town, Bim Son town, Quang Xuong, Dong Son, Hoang Hoa, Cam Thuy districts...

Thanh Hoa City Open Vovinam Tournament kicks off

The tournament took place on June 24 and 25 at Ham Rong High School's multi-purpose gymnasium.

The Organizing Committee will award medals and prizes to athletes who achieve high rankings in each competition with a total of 30 sets of medals, and also award first, second and third prizes to the best teams. The tournament will end on the afternoon of June 25 with a closing ceremony and award ceremony.
