According to the enrollment plan of the Special Forces Officer School, this year, the school enrolls 59 students (35 students in the North, 24 students in the South) for the Special Forces Command and Staff major. At the same time, the school uses 3 admission methods including:
- Method 1: Direct admission, priority admission according to university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
- Method 2: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University (VNU) Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.
- Method 3 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
The school's admission subjects include non-commissioned officers and soldiers serving in the army according to the provisions of the law on military service, with a service period of 12 months or more as of April of the year of admission (soldiers enlisted in 2024 or earlier), professional soldiers, workers and defense officials serving in the army for 12 months or more (as of September of the year of admission).
Recruiting young men outside the military (including discharged soldiers and citizens who have completed their service to join the people's police), the number of registrations is unlimited.
This year, the minimum score for high school graduation exam scores to enter military schools ranges from 14.5 to 23 points. Of which, the Special Forces Officer School takes 18 points.
