Opening of training course for 30 lecturers on IPM on fruit trees

From now until October 2024, trainees who are agricultural officers of districts, towns, and cities; officers of agricultural service centers; agricultural extension officers of communes; and cooperatives will participate in 24 days of study and practice, arranged according to each growth stage of citrus fruit trees.

During the course, students will learn about topics such as: position, role, current status of fruit tree production in the country and Thanh Hoa province; conditions for safe fruit production according to State regulations; knowledge about integrated pest management (IPM) on citrus fruit trees: plant physiology at different stages of development; main diseases on fruit trees; use of pesticides according to the "4 rights" principle; absorption of pesticides by plants; effects of pesticides on pests, natural enemies, and humans; measures to prevent and control pests and diseases on fruit trees; information on markets, methods of production organization, production management, etc. Certified IPM lecturers will be the core force to propagate and disseminate the IPM program widely to farmers in the province. Thereby, improving the efficiency of production and consumption of fruit tree products.
