Hyundai India has expanded its Creta Electric range in the domestic market, with the introduction of three new variants, including: Creta Electric Excellence and Creta Electric Executive Tech using a 42 kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Creta Electric Executive (O) version is equipped with a 51.4 kWh battery with an operating range of up to 510 km. The car is also introduced with two new paint colors: Matte Black and Shadow Gray, increasing the personalization options for customers.
According to the manufacturer's announcement, the 42 kWh battery version can travel up to 420 km after each full charge, while the 51.4 kWh battery version can travel 510 km according to AIS 040 (Rev.1) testing standards. The addition of the new variants is expected by Hyundai to help alleviate range anxiety – one of the biggest hurdles for electric vehicle users in India. Apart from the battery upgrade, all Creta Electric variants now get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity thanks to a wired-to-wireless adapter.
Some high-end versions of the 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric also have a dash cam, wireless charging for the rear seats and a series of driver assistance features. In the new series of versions, the Excellence version (42 kWh battery) is highly appreciated thanks to its remarkable equipment list such as level 2 driver assistance system (ADAS) with 20 features, 360-degree camera, front parking sensor, blind spot monitoring system, ventilated front seats, folding rear seat tables and automatic wipers. The Executive Tech trim adds a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, eco-friendly interior trim and rear sunshades.
Meanwhile, the Executive (O) version uses a 51.4 kWh battery, stands out with a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof and many other amenities. The price of the new Hyundai Creta Electric 2025 in the Indian market ranges from INR 1,802 million (about VND 539 million) to INR 2,439 million (about VND 730 million), depending on the configuration and equipment.
