On August 12, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province announced that first graders will return to school on August 19, 2024 at the earliest; the remaining grades will return to school on August 26, 2024; and the school year will start on September 5, 2024.

The Department of Education and Training also officially issued the training plan for the 2024-2025 school year. The specific start and end dates of each semester are as follows: Semester I has 18 weeks of actual study, starting from September 9, 2024 and ending before January 12, 2025.

Semester II has 17 weeks of actual study, starting from January 13, 2025 and ending before May 25, 2025. The school year ends before May 31, 2025.

Consider recognizing completion of primary school program and consider recognizing graduation from secondary school before June 30, 2025. Complete enrollment of first grade classes for the 2025-2026 school year before July 31, 2025.

High school graduation exam in 2025 and national exams according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training . Holidays and Tet holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and annual guidance documents.

Preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize the implementation of the 2024-2025 school year schedule. At the same time, perform the tasks assigned by the Minister of Education and Training.
