Nicolas Jackson and Nkunku will not be in the Blues squad for tonight's trip to West Ham, despite both being fit.

When asked by reporters whether Nicolas Jackson should be kept as a backup for Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, coach Maresca said:

"It would be better if what he wants happens. Nicolas Jackson will not be in the Chelsea squad because we have two players in that position.

He is ready to leave. If a suitable transfer option is found, Jackson will leave.

Same goes for Nkunku. Let's see if they're still around when the summer market closes.

It would be better if both of them found a new destination, where they feel happy and Chelsea too."

Newcastle, Aston Villa, Napoli and many other teams are interested in Jackson. However, no club has met Chelsea's £60 million valuation.

As for Nkunku, there have been discussions about returning to Germany to play for Bayern Munich or RB Leipzig. However, both teams only want to loan the French striker.
