Hanoi: Visiting and congratulating pagodas on the occasion of Vu Lan Festival

At Quan Su Pagoda, Most Venerable Elder Thich Thanh Nhieu, Standing Member of the Council of Evidence, Permanent Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; at Tran Quoc Pagoda, Most Venerable Elder Thich Thanh Nha, Standing Member of the Council of Evidence of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, abbot of the pagoda; at Ly Trieu Quoc Su Pagoda, Most Venerable Elder Thich Bao Nghiem, Vice President of the Council of Administration of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Central Propagation Committee, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hanoi City... welcomed the delegation.

Director of the City Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Nguyen Sy Truong sent his best wishes to the monks, venerable monks, and all monks, nuns, and Buddhists.

The Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of the city presented flower baskets from the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, and affirmed that Buddhism has made positive contributions to the overall development of the capital and the country. At the same time, he highly appreciated the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, especially the pagodas that organized the solemn and meaningful Vu Lan Festival, demonstrating deep concern for preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of the nation.

This is a special blend between the nation's tradition of filial piety and the country's spirit of patriotism and peace. The filial piety of Buddhism and the spirit of national solidarity have blended together to create a sacred and proud holiday.
