Where to deposit for a term of less than 12 months to get the best interest?

According to CBBank's online interest rate table, the 6-month term interest rate decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 5.7%/year. The 7-11 month term also decreased similarly to 5.8%/year.

Thus, the interest rate for deposits with terms from 6 to 11 months at CBBank has officially dropped below 6%/year.

Currently, there are only two banks maintaining interest rates above 6%/year for deposit terms under 12 months: NCB and PVCombank.

For deposits with terms of 12 months or more, CBBank also reduced interest rates by 0.3 percentage points. The bank interest rate for 12-month terms is now 6%/year, and for terms of 13 months or more, it is currently 6.1%/year.

CBBank still maintains the interest rate for deposits of 1-5 months. The interest rate for 1-2 month term is currently 4.2%/year, while the interest rate for 3-5 month term is 4.3%/year.

According to statistics from the beginning of October, 24 banks have reduced deposit interest rates, including: PVCombank, VIB, Sacombank, VietBank, SCB, VPBank,SHB , BIDV, VietinBank, HDBank, BaoViet Bank, Techcombank, SeABank, Viet A Bank, PG Bank, Dong A Bank, Vietcombank, LPBank, Nam A Bank, CBBank, ACB, Bac A Bank, and NCB.

Of which, CBBank, VIB, Vietcombank, SHB, Dong A Bank, PG Bank, Nam A Bank, HDBank , LPBank, Viet A Bank are the banks that reduced interest rates twice this month.

VietBank and Bac A Bank have reduced interest rates for the third time this month. On the contrary, there was one bank that increased deposit interest rates, GPBank, on October 4.
