Meeting to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Association's Traditional Day

On the afternoon of December 6, the Provincial Veterans Association held a meeting to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Association's Traditional Day (December 6, 1989 - December 6, 2024).

Attending the event were comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee; and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

Overview of the meeting.

After 35 years of construction and development, the Association of War Veterans of Ninh Thuan province has continuously consolidated and developed. The work of building a strong association organization has always been focused on. In 1992, the whole province had 49 grassroots associations with 1,776 members. To date, it has developed to 73 grassroots associations, 390 branches, with 6,841 members. Associations at all levels regularly propagate and mobilize members and people to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; coordinate with departments, branches, the Front, and mass organizations to participate in consolidating a strong grassroots political system; effectively implement emulation movements. The movement "War Veterans help each other reduce poverty, do good business" is increasingly developing widely, the lives of members are improved...

Leaders of the Provincial Association of War Veterans awarded Commemorative Medals to individuals who are cadres, leaders of the Party, government, agencies, branches, Fatherland Front, and socio- political organizations at all levels in 2024.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of the provincial Association of War Veterans over 35 years of construction and development. He suggested that in the coming time, the Association of War Veterans at all levels continue to promote the achievements, maintain the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, always be loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the country's renovation and the policies of the locality, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, the government and the people in the province. Be exemplary, actively participate in movements, campaigns, and participate in socio -economic development in the locality; the Association at all levels focus on building a strong organization in all aspects, strengthening the development of members, especially young members...

Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association awarded the Vietnam Veterans Medal to 22 individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of building and developing the Vietnam Veterans Association.
