According to ACV, the installation of technical equipment systems for non-stop toll collection and automatic cashless collection at airports is nearly complete.

Therefore, according to plan, on May 5, non-stop toll collection will be implemented at the above 5 airports.

Along with that, the toll collection system at 5 airports is also expected to apply the Tap & Go method (electronic payment).

Currently, vehicle owners who have an ETC account used on national highways and expressways can travel through airport toll lanes without having to attach an additional card or incur additional procedures, because these systems are integrated synchronously.

Recently, ACV has coordinated with Digital Technology Joint Stock Company (HiTD) to conduct surveys and develop plans to install equipment and connect non-cash collection and automatic non-stop systems at Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai.

With simultaneous application at 5 airports, ACV hopes to reduce congestion and speed up traffic time at the airports.

It is known that after implementing automatic non-stop toll collection at airports, the Ministry of Transport (MOT) plans to apply ETC toll collection for many new services such as seaport fees, parking lots, insurance, and registration.

Previously, the Ministry of Transport requested ACV and relevant agencies and units to urgently deploy non-stop electronic toll collection services at airports to ensure progress, publicity, transparency, and compliance with legal regulations on bidding and other relevant regulations.
