Dien Bien innovates emulation and rewards, creating breakthrough momentum in the 2025-2030 period

In the context of the country entering a new development stage with many breakthroughs in policy, technology, international integration and digital transformation, emulation and reward work is one of the essential tools to arouse the desire to rise up, unite and be creative at all levels and in all sectors.

For Dien Bien province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism identifies the 2025-2030 period as an important period to implement major policies of the Party and State on socio -economic development, while at the same time implementing specific goals on culture, sports, heritage and tourism.

Awaken inner strength, promote development aspirations

In the 2025-2030 period, the Party and State have proposed many major policies and strategies to promote national development, including breakthroughs in streamlining the apparatus, reorganizing the political system, developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and international integration.

These are favorable conditions for Dien Bien to promote the patriotic emulation movement, creating motivation to complete the goal of building the province to develop more and more sustainably.

For the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector – a sector that plays an important role in spiritual life, preserving local identity and image – emulation and reward work is of key significance. The sector sets a consistent goal of completing 100% and striving to exceed the targets and political tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in the next 5 years.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to individuals with achievements in organizing the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

In addition, emulation to build cultural agencies and units is a regular focus. Every year, 100% of collectives strive to achieve the title of "Advanced Labor Collective"; over 98% of civil servants, public employees, and workers complete their tasks well and are recognized as advanced workers.

Agencies and units must also meet cultural standards, safety, security and order, and build a Green - Clean - Beautiful working environment.

Party building work is also given special attention. The goal is for 100% of subordinate Party cells to complete their tasks well, of which at least 20% of Party cells will complete them excellently; over 95% of Party members will complete their tasks well, and strive for over 15% of Party members to complete them excellently.

Along with that, the entire industry is determined not to allow any degradation in political ideology, morality, lifestyle or manifestations of "self-evolution" or "self-transformation" within the industry.

The socio-political organizations also set a target of 100% completing their tasks well; over 97% of union members and members or more fulfilling their responsibilities well. This contributes to building a united and cohesive workplace environment, encouraging each individual to develop their capacity and contribute effectively to the collective.

To realize the above goals, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province has identified 9 key tasks and many synchronous solutions.

First of all, propaganda and education work is considered the foundation, continuing to thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, strictly implementing Directive No. 41-CT/TW dated December 26, 2024 of the Politburo. Thereby, arousing the spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to do, self-reliance, self-reliance and aspiration to rise up in the whole industry.
