Dien Bien pays over 14.6 billion VND to people contributing land to grow rubber

Regarding the payment of benefits to people who contributed land to grow rubber, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Cam, General Director of Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company, said: From August 12 to August 22, the Company completed the payment of more than 14.6 billion VND to more than 4,000 households and individuals in 10 communes and wards who contributed land to grow rubber. The total area of rubber gardens eligible for latex exploitation of more than 4,000 households is 3,558 hectares.

Payment of land contributions to people is made in two forms: Payment through bank accounts (for individuals who already have account cards) and payment in cash at the headquarters of the commune or ward where people have contributed land.

Company staff pay land contribution benefits to people of Muong Pon village, Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien province.

This is the 8th year that Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company has paid benefits to people who contribute land to grow rubber. It is known that in addition to benefiting from the land contribution, thousands of households with contributed land are also supported by the Company to create jobs, with an average income of 5 million VND/person/month. Every year, the Company organizes visits, encourages and supports the families of workers and contracted households to actively work and protect the gardens.

To ensure that land contribution payments to people are accurate, convenient and to the right recipients, before making payments, Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company sent notices to the People's Committees of 10 communes and wards where households and individuals contributed land.

At the headquarters of the People's Committees of communes and wards, the Company also posted public notices of the time, location, and area of each family's garden so that people could clearly understand; at the same time, it requested that the communes send staff to supervise and support the payment process.

People of Muong Pon commune are happy to receive payment for land contribution.

Currently, Dien Bien Rubber Joint Stock Company is coordinating with a number of commercial banks in the province to set up personal accounts for people to contribute land, and to proceed to pay money through bank accounts for people to ensure faster and more convenient payment.

Ms. Quang Thi Phich is one of 932 households with land contributed to grow rubber in Muong Pon commune, who received payment in 2024, happily said: The company's payment is very timely, accurate and convenient. From the money paid by the company, my family has more conditions to buy supplies, equipment and books for the children at the beginning of the new school year.
