This year, the Air Force Officer School enrolls 105 students for university training and 60 students for college training with the following methods:

Method 1: Direct admission, priority given to direct admission for candidates who have won national and international prizes according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense.

- The required academic results for 3 years (grades 10, 11 and 12) must be good or above, in which the average score of the 12th grade subject of the 3 subjects in the combination that the candidate registers for direct admission must be good or above.

- The score of the high school graduation exams or subjects is from 6.5 points or higher (on a 10-point scale).

- Regarding conduct (training): The candidate's conduct (training) ranking for high school years or equivalent must be good or higher.

Method 2: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025.

- Conversion is carried out for candidates with IELTS foreign language scores of 5.5 points or higher or TOEFL iBT scores of 55 points or higher

- Foreign language score conversion is not applicable for international language certificates taken at home.

- In case a candidate has just taken the high school graduation exam in a foreign language and used a foreign language certificate to convert the admission score, the option with a higher score will be given priority.

- Foreign language certificates are valid until August 22, 2025 (notification time for successful candidates according to the regulations in the 2025 Enrollment Plan of the Ministry of Education and Training).

Method 3: Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in 2025.

Conditions for admission are as follows:

For the university system , the school accepts applications for the first admission wish of candidates who have passed the preliminary selection at local military agencies, the Air Defense - Air Force Medical Institute, have a conclusion of meeting the health requirements of the Air Defense - Air Force Service and have submitted preliminary application documents to the Air Force Officer School, and have been notified by the Air Force Officer School that they meet the preliminary selection criteria for the school.

For the Aviation Engineering College system, candidates must complete two separate application forms: one preliminary application form issued by the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of National Defense, and one online application form for the High School Graduation Exam and other applications on the Ministry of Education and Training's system according to the instructions of teachers at the high school they are attending.

The school receives the first-choice application of candidates who have passed the preliminary selection at local military agencies and submitted the preliminary selection application to the Air Force Officer School; the Air Force Officer School sends a notice of meeting the preliminary selection criteria to the school.
