Entering building A - National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), visitors are immediately attracted by the central stage. Here, artists from the Vietnam Drama Theater, Vietnam Circus Federation, National Traditional Arts Theater... bring special performances, from "Thi Mau goes to the pagoda", excerpts from Cai Luong, Cheo, Tuong, to Quan Ho, circus. The bustling performance atmosphere makes the audience excited.
“I was very surprised to enjoy traditional art performances right at the exhibition. It felt like I was living in a miniature cultural festival,” said Thuy Linh (in Hanoi).

The performing arts area also featured performances of traditional musical instruments, water puppetry, Then singing, and Tinh lute. These cultural slices helped the public, especially the young, get closer to the heritage treasure that is considered “selective” for viewers.
Another highlight is the Vietnam Cinema booth. The digital film studio with motion capture technology, green screen and virtual reality (VR) makes many young people fascinated with the experience, transforming into ancient or animated characters.

In addition, the mini cinema continuously shows 50 typical works, from revolutionary films such as “Dao, Pho and Piano”, “Hong Ha Nu Si” to box office “blockbusters” such as “Mat Biec”, “Cua Lai Vo Bau”, “Tiec Trang Mau”.
Pham Nhat Long, a student at Hanoi Law University, excitedly said: “This is the first time I have watched a movie and met the actors in the same space. This helps the audience understand more about the filmmaking journey and be more proud of Vietnamese cinema.”
Not only performing arts or cinema, the booths on advertising, architecture, handicrafts, fashion , publishing, design, entertainment games… also provide a comprehensive view. Each booth is designed as a “piece” in the cultural flow from tradition to modernity, affirming the power of the cultural industry in shaping the national brand.

Endogenous motivation for the aspiration of a strong Vietnam
According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, the provision of a separate space for 12 cultural industries at the National Achievements Exhibition shows the special attention of the Party and State to this field. The display not only reflects achievements, but also shows development trends, creating social awareness of the strategic role of cultural industries.
The list of 12 cultural industries in Vietnam includes: Advertising, Architecture, Software and entertainment games, Handicrafts, Design, Cinema, Publishing, Fashion, Performing arts, Fine arts - Photography - Exhibitions, Television and radio, Cultural tourism. This is a rich creative ecosystem, both preserving traditional values and exploiting the potential of modern markets.

People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, affirmed: "Artists always want to turn creativity into economic value, contributing to enriching the country. With the right orientation, the cultural industry will further motivate artists to contribute, so that Vietnamese culture can spread to international friends."
Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Development of Cultural Industries Vuong Duy Bien also emphasized: “The quality of the exhibitions in many booths, especially fine arts and performing arts, shows a thorough investment. This is an opportunity to connect people, businesses, and artists to create momentum for the development of the cultural industry.”

Media expert Le Quoc Vinh said that the presence of 12 cultural industries at the exhibition is “a comprehensive communication campaign for the Vietnamese brand”. When units participate in promotion, national value will be raised, not only domestically but also internationally.
In fact, the development of cultural industries is a global trend. In Vietnam, this sector has gradually become an important service economic sector, contributing to sustainable growth, creating jobs, and enhancing the value of the national brand. In particular, the exploitation of “soft resources” not only supplements the economy but also strengthens cultural and social strength, contributing to the preservation of heritage and the promotion of national identity.
The 2025 National Achievements Exhibition is therefore not only an occasion to summarize the 80-year journey of construction and development, but also a strong affirmation: 12 cultural industries are the "gold mine" for Vietnam to break through, realizing the aspiration of becoming a powerful nation in the 21st century.
