The organizers hope that this will be a playground to help athletes, officials, civil servants, office workers, and beginners in Pickleball - especially women - have the opportunity to exchange, learn, improve their health and professional skills, and also promote the development of the Pickleball practice movement across the country.

Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Ly Viet Trung - Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper stated that the Pickleball tournament is not only a sporting event, but also an important step in encouraging and developing women 's sports in Vietnam. Pickleball is an increasingly popular sport , combining tennis, table tennis and badminton. With the strong development of this sport , we hope that the tournament of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper will attract the attention of many fans and create opportunities for female athletes to demonstrate their talents.

"The tournament also focuses on encouraging the participation of couples, including husband and wife and mother and child, to strengthen family ties. This not only creates beautiful memories but also promotes mutual support within the family," said journalist Ly Viet Trung.

It is known that at the tournament, the organizers will allocate a portion of the competition fee to support the Para Pickleball Club of the city's disabled sports. The organizers also officially opened the registration portal from September 26. Athletes who want to participate in the tournament can register online or directly at the editorial office of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper (No. 311 Dien Bien Phu Street, District 3).
