Chairman of Vietnam Farmers' Union - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development listens to farmers speak

Within the framework of the program "Proud of Vietnamese Farmers in 2024", the 9th National Farmers' Forum in 2024 with the theme: "Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development listens to farmers" was held in Hanoi , the message of the Forum is "Sharing together, listening together".

The forum is chaired by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ; organized by Nong Thon Ngay Nay/Dan Viet Newspaper in collaboration with Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank).

The 9th National Farmers' Forum was chaired by Comrade Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; Comrade Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Forum was also attended by representatives of central ministries, branches, localities, experts, scientists, and businesses; especially the presence of 126 outstanding farmers and typical cooperatives.

The 9th National Farmers' Forum: "Listening to farmers speak" is an opportunity for leaders to listen to outstanding farmers, typical cooperatives, and businesses share their difficulties and problems in the fields of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas; at the same time, propose, reflect, express their thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations to the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. On that basis, there will be reports, summaries, and recommendations to the Party and the State on specific policies to support farmers to actively participate in production.
