The story opens with the dreamlike wedding of singer Tu Quynh (Thuy Diem) and doctor Minh (Trinh Xuan Nhan). Quynh decides to leave the stage and devote herself to her beloved husband. But that seemingly perfect happiness soon has cracks... Loneliness pushes Quynh to seek sweet memories with her ex-lover, the talented musician Thanh Phuong (Ma Ran Do). The conflict reaches its peak when there are rumors about the relationship between doctor Minh and his colleague Phu Dung (Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyen)...

The play raises a painful question in today's society: Are people coming together based on considerations of benefits and needs, forgetting that the foundation of love must be sincere vibrations from the heart? Then when they realize their mistakes, they become alone in their own choices, having to pay the price with pain and endless regret, hurting others and themselves.

As a director and editor, Cong Hien shows meticulousness in every detail. He uses stage lighting as a unique language, smoothly transitioning between the real space and the flow of the character's memories. Although only playing supporting roles, Meritorious Artist Thanh Hoi and artist Ai Nhu still prove their class with their "calm" yet graceful dialogue, bringing subtle laughter to help balance the emotions of the play. Thuy Diem and Kim Tuyen, who are familiar with the screen, when they entered the stage, showed remarkable efforts and dedication in their authentic acting. Other artists such as Hoai Nguyen, Phi Long, Ba Phong, Hoang Uyen, Anh Sao... created a play rich in emotions, leaving many thoughts for the audience.
