On September 12, the Ministry of Construction issued Official Dispatch No. 9785/BXD-PC on the implementation of tasks in Resolution No. 268/NQ-CP dated August 31, 2025 of the Government on the implementation and operation of the two-level local government model.

In urban and rural planning, the Department of Planning and Architecture presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies and units to urge and inspect the implementation of Resolution No. 66.1/2025/NQ-CP dated July 18, 2025 of the Government regulating the handling of difficulties and obstacles in establishing new, adjusting and approving zoning plans for urban areas when implementing the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and organizing two-level local governments.

Issue regulations on urban classification in September

In the work of urban classification, the Department of Urban Development shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to urgently advise and submit for promulgation legal documents on urban classification, to be completed in September 2025.

The Information Technology Center presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies and units to advise on the implementation of assigned tasks in Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP dated April 1, 2025 and Resolution No. 214/NQ-CP dated July 23, 2025 of the Government.

The Center focuses on completing the database and connecting and communicating with the administrative procedure settlement information system of ministries, branches and localities, ensuring the provision of online public services according to a centralized and unified model on the National Public Service Portal for administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of provincial and communal levels, to be completed in 2025.

Develop a plan and urgently coordinate with the Government Office and the Ministry of Public Security to restructure processes and provide online public services on the National Public Service Portal.
