More than 44 billion VND ready to support people in damaged areas

On the morning of September 14, at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province held a launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3.

At the launching ceremony to support the victims, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province - Binh Duong Province Relief Mobilization Committee received support and registration of support from units, organizations, agencies, businesses and individuals.

Many organizations and individuals attended the ceremony and donated large amounts of money, from tens of millions to billions of dong.

Among them, there are units that donated large amounts of money such as: Binh Duong Provincial Trade Union 10 billion VND, Becamex IDC Corporation 5 billion VND, Dai Nam Joint Stock Company 5 billion VND, an import-export trading company donated 2 billion VND, a real estate company donated 3.2 billion VND...

Up to this point, the Binh Duong Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee said that the total amount of money donated by organizations and individuals in the launching ceremony was more than 44 billion VND. The authorities of Binh Duong province continue to mobilize and call for support and will transparently disclose detailed information to the people.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province publicly disclosed the statement of organizations and individuals supporting people affected by natural disasters and floods caused by storm No. 3. The statement period is from September 10-12. According to the list, within just 3 days (September 10 to September 12), nearly 1,500 organizations and individuals have donated more than 2.3 billion VND to this account.

Previously, on September 10, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province allocated 10 billion VND from the Relief Fund to support 10 northern provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 3.

Specifically, Binh Duong directly supported the provinces and cities: Son La, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai , Thai Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong City, each locality 1 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, said that from September 10 to now, the entire political system, sectors, levels, associations, businesses, religious organizations and people of Binh Duong province have shown special affection, concern, sharing, material and spiritual support, and contributed money to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.

The total amount of money raised up to this point is over 44 billion VND.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual love, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee calls on each cadre, civil servant, public employee and soldier of the armed forces to contribute savings from one day's salary.
