Review knowledge
Master Nguyen Thanh Cong shared that this is an important time when candidates have gone through a long period of studying and reviewing. At this time, they need to review their knowledge system to promptly fill in gaps in their knowledge, review what they do not understand to ensure that knowledge is not missed.
The best way to review knowledge is to rebuild tree diagrams of knowledge sections, from small to large, any forgotten, missing, or unclear content needs to be supplemented. The new exam focuses on practical questions, so it is necessary to find a way to connect theory and real life. Pay special attention to practical questions, questions related to experimental and practical processes that need to be carefully studied again.
Re-standardize skills
Having knowledge is not enough, Mr. Cong thinks that students need to review their skill system. From basic skills such as reading comprehension, calculation, etc., it is necessary to practice analytical skills, perfect logical thinking, situational judgment, and time allocation to have the most complete skills.
Prepare your health
Take care of your health to avoid getting sick before and during the exam. Eat properly, eat familiar foods, avoid strange foods that can lead to allergies or food poisoning. Minimize contact with infectious agents such as sleeping under mosquito nets, etc.
Get into the habit of going to bed early and waking up early, and avoid staying up late. Avoid waking up late as this can lead to forgetting about the exam, or worse, being still sleepy at the exam time.
Read the questions carefully to evaluate whether the questions are easy/difficult.
Master Nguyen Thanh Cong reminded students to prepare enough pens of the same color, use 2B, 3B pencils and avoid mechanical pencils which are easy to break and cause stress; bring enough erasers, prepare 1-2 calculators, check their working status; put exam cards, rulers, etc. in a clear bag without any writing so that they can be brought into the exam room neatly.
When receiving the assignment, remember to read it carefully, confirm that the assignment is not blurred, torn or missing pages before starting to work. Time to report errors is limited, so if there are errors, please report them early.
Read the questions carefully to evaluate the ease/difficulty of the questions. Do the easy questions, the “read and know” questions first. Fill in the answer sheet as soon as you get the answer. Don’t wait until the end, it’s easy to get caught up, especially in the difficult questions, and forget to fill in, and when the bell rings, you won’t have time to fill in the answer sheet. Try to do all the ABCD multiple choice questions and fill them all in. Do the true/false multiple choice questions very carefully to avoid losing points. For the short answer questions, do the easy questions first, and leave the difficult questions for last.
Forget the previous subject and don't look up the answers online.
For the next exam, forget the previous exam and do not look up the answers online because looking up the answers can affect your psychology for the next exam. Take some time to rest, you can review the knowledge of the next exam in a gentle, stress-free way.
After finishing your final exam, give yourself a break. Don't rush to look up the answers online, they are often inaccurate.
"Wait for the Ministry's answer to be announced, remember to write down your answer to look up the Ministry's answer. When you have the answer, score distribution and answer, you can look up your score early as a basis for arranging your admission wishes appropriately and effectively" - Mr. Cong advised students.
