The Yen Bai Provincial Crossbow and Stick Pushing Championship is organized annually by the Yen Bai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to create a useful playground and select athletes to participate in national sports competitions. It is an opportunity for those who are passionate about crossbow shooting and stick pushing to exchange, learn, and improve their health, contributing to the maintenance and development of traditional sports.

Accordingly, the 2025 Yen Bai Provincial Crossbow and Stick Pushing Championship attracted the participation of nearly 100 athletes of all ages from 7 delegations from districts and towns in Yen Bai province.

Among them, there are many young athletes who have been trained and practiced regularly, so when competing, there is not much difference in professional quality, creating attractive and dramatic matches, attracting the attention and enthusiastic cheering of many fans of the two sports of crossbow shooting and pole pushing in Yen Bai.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second, and Third prizes to male and female athletes who performed well in each category of crossbow shooting. T awarded First, Second, and Third prizes in each male and female weight category to athletes who performed well in pole pushing.

The tournament is also a practical activity organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Yen Bai to maintain, preserve and develop traditional sports in general, contributing to promoting the Campaign "All people practice sports following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the period of 2021 - 2030 associated with the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in Yen Bai.
