7-year-old girl sings at A80: Biological father tells behind-the-scenes story, My Tam's thoughtful actions

(Dan Tri) - Not only did she leave her mark in the opening performance at the A80 ceremony, 7-year-old girl Ha Thuy Tien also moved many people with her behind-the-scenes story with singer My Tam.

During the National Day parade celebration on September 2nd at Ba Dinh Square, the Vietnamese Spirit performance opened with the clear voice of Ha Thuy Tien (born 2018, Hanoi ).

Appearing next to her was singer My Tam. After Thuy Tien's opening, My Tam sang the song Giai dieu tu huong, creating an inspiring combination, spreading a strong patriotic spirit. The image of the little girl and the top singer on the sacred stage was quickly shared widely.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Ha Van Bao (32 years old, Hanoi) - Thuy Tien's father - said: "The moment my child sang, I burst into tears. All the worries of many days suddenly burst into pride. My child is so young, standing on a stage broadcast live nationwide, I was very worried. But when my child performed well and was well received by the audience, that feeling cannot be described in words."

He said that before the show took place, his family did not want to put pressure on him: "We just told him that this is a special stage, to stay confident and innocent when singing. He was a bit nervous, but when the music started, the excited atmosphere gave him more energy to perform naturally like when practicing."

Not only singing together at the historic Ba Dinh Square, the behind-the-scenes moments between My Tam and baby Ha Thuy Tien also attracted millions of views.

Thuy Tien's father recounted that after returning home, his daughter excitedly said that My Tam was "very lovely and caring". For him, what touched him the most was the closeness and intimacy between his daughter and the female singer, as if they had known each other for a long time.

Due to security regulations, parents are not allowed to accompany their children backstage, they can only watch live on TV.

"That day, I only saw my child holding Ms. Tam's hand and walking to the position to prepare for the ceremony. I was very worried, and didn't have time to say anything, I just asked Ms. Tam's manager to pay attention because my child was too young. But seeing Ms. Tam's care for my child from the rehearsal, I felt somewhat more secure," Mr. Bao shared.

He added that before the parade, while moving hastily, the child's clothes became disheveled. Because they were separated, the family could not help fix the child, and could only silently pray.

"I kept blaming myself for not having time to fix my child's clothes properly before going on air. Luckily, when the show aired, I was extremely happy to see my child appear neatly. After asking again, my child said that it was Ms. Tam who fixed his clothes. Hearing her story, I was even more grateful for the singer's dedication," he said.

After the performance, Ha Thuy Tien received many congratulations from teachers and friends. At the opening ceremony on September 5, she received congratulations from the principal and was honored to welcome the delegation to the school with her. Her classmates also praised: "Dau, why are you so good? You look so pretty on TV!"

However, according to Mr. Bao, his 7-year-old daughter does not fully understand all the attention being paid to her. He confided: "I just told her that it was a very sacred and meaningful program and that she did well. What I want most is for her to have an innocent childhood, develop naturally, and not be pressured by the gazes of adults."
