In the 2024-2025 school year, Bat Xat district'seducation career continues to develop and achieve outstanding results. The scale of schools and classrooms continues to be reviewed and re-planned to ensure teaching and learning. The work of building national standard schools associated with new rural construction has received investment attention. Up to now, in the district, 49/59 schools have met and maintained standards, exceeding 3.9% of the target set by the Resolution of the 23rd District Party Congress.
The quality of the management staff and teachers has been gradually improved. The whole sector currently has 95% of staff and teachers with qualifications meeting the standards or higher (an increase of 32% compared to 2020), of which 20.3% have qualifications above the standards. The quality of comprehensive education continues to make steady progress, clearly affirmed in both lowland and highland areas, from preschool to high school.
In the last 2 school years, the number of students in the district passing the entrance exam to grade 10 of the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School has always been the highest in the province: 55 students in the 2023-2024 school year, 60 students in the 2024-2025 school year.
The number of students in the district who pass the entrance exam to the Specialized High School and are excellent students in cultural subjects at the provincial level is increasing. The number of students who pass the high school graduation exam every year is over 99%; the number of students who are transferred after high school graduation is 59.1%...
The work of universalizing education, eliminating illiteracy and piloting universalizing preschool education for 4-year-old children continues to achieve high results. The district maintains the standard of universalizing preschool education for 4-year-old and 5-year-old children; maintains universalizing primary education at level 3, maintaining universalizing secondary education at level 2 in 12/21 communes and towns , level 3 in 9/21 communes and towns ... In 2 years (2024 - 2025), the district organized 14 illiteracy eradication classes with 231 students. The rate of trained workers reached 72.5% (achieving 100.7% of the target set by the Resolution of the 23rd District Party Congress).
In recognition of the achievements in the 2024-2025 school year, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 students; the Director of the Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 78 students; the Chairman of the Bat Xat District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 252 students; the Chairman of the Bat Xat District Education Promotion Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 299 students.
At the conference, the People's Committee of Bat Xat district and the Association for Promotion of Education of Bat Xat district awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with high achievements in the 2024 - 2025 school year; the District Department of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to teachers with outstanding achievements at the District-level Excellent Teacher Competition in the 2024 - 2025 school year.
