Arrest of car battery thief

On September 9, Binh An Commune Police (An Giang Province) said they had caught a suspect stealing two car batteries and seized many related exhibits.

Previously, on the night of September 7, Binh An Commune Police ( An Giang Province) coordinated with local forces to patrol the roads in the area. When they reached Vinh Hoa 1 Hamlet, Binh An Commune, they caught a subject stealing a car battery (concrete mixer truck) at the TT concrete mixing station.

The suspect was identified as Lien Thanh Hien (born in 1975, residing in Tan Doi Hamlet, Vinh Tuy Commune, An Giang Province), temporarily residing in Vinh Thanh B Hamlet, Binh An Commune. When arrested, the Commune Police seized 2 black SANY batteries, 1 motorbike with license plate 59B1-125.XX and 3 keys. Hien admitted to the theft.
