On the morning of June 9, the Kien Xuong District Veterans Association coordinated with the District Fatherland Front Committee to inaugurate and hand over a solidarity house to veteran Ngo Viet Hai, village 10, Vu Trung commune.

Leaders of the Provincial Veterans Association presented funds to build a solidarity house for veteran Ngo Viet Hai.

Mr. Ngo Viet Hai was born in 1944, enlisted in August 1967 in unit K75 of the Binh Tri Thien front, a unit that directly fought against American imperialism. Although he made great efforts in labor and production, due to the impact of the years of participating in the difficult war, his health declined and his economic conditions were difficult. The old house of veteran Ngo Viet Hai's family is a level 4 house, built a long time ago and is seriously degraded.

Leaders of the Veterans Association of Kien Xuong province and district visited the solidarity house of veteran Ngo Viet Hai's family.

In response to the situation of veteran Ngo Viet Hai's family, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has supported 50 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund for the family to build a solid house, with a usable area of 75m2 with a total construction cost of 240 million VND, the remaining amount will be supported by children, grandchildren and relatives in the family. The house will help veteran Ngo Viet Hai's family stabilize their lives, feel secure in developing the economy and enjoy a good rest with their children and grandchildren in their old age.
