On September 9-10, the Military Technical Academy organized admission for civilian and military students who had just passed the first round of university training in 2025.

For the military system, this year, the Military Technical Academy has 364 candidates admitted (20 candidates who won national prizes were admitted directly). Of these, 35 candidates were admitted with an absolute admission score of 30/30 (the admission score is different from the candidate's exam score because there are priority bonus points and incentive bonus points). After admission, the students are transferred to the training facility in Phu Tho (formerly Vinh Phuc province) to study phase 1.
Particularly touching during this year's admission ceremony was the image of Mrs. Ngo Thi Lai, 93 years old, from Thu Bong, Da Nang City, grandmother of student Le Phuoc Nguyen Vu, who came to Hanoi to encourage her grandson to enroll. Nguyen Vu was admitted to the military program of the Military Technical Academy. She stayed at the school until her grandson got on the bus to go to the training place in Phu Tho.

This morning, nearly 600 civilian students enrolled at the Military Technical Academy. This is the first year the school resumes civilian enrollment after a 6-year hiatus.
This year, the Military Technical Academy enrolls 360 military students and 755 civilian students with the following methods: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense; admission of excellent high school students; admission based on the results of the capacity assessment exam of 2 National Universities; admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
